PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Galicia Jewish Museum is a place without barriers – open and friendly to all of its guests. Thanks to various architectural solutions we are a place which is fully accessible to guests with disabilities. Children aged 6 and below can enter our museum free of charge, also, during their visit they can view the exhibition with their parents or play at our kid’s corner. You can also visit us with your dog.
KID’S CORNER
The Galicia Jewish Museum loves children! While their parents view our exhibitions, children are invited to play at our kid’s corner, where they can use crayons, colouring books and toys. A glass wall separates the kid’s corner from the frontal space of our museum, thanks to that they can be supervised by our receptionist. One of our toilets is equipped with baby changing facilities. The museum cafe offers healthy juice and sweet snacks which will satisfy even the most choosy young visitor.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
The museum if fully accessible to guests on wheelchairs as well as those who are visually challenged:
- there are no stairs in the museum
- the museum has a wide main entrance as well as any other entrances and corridors connecting different rooms
- there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet
- entrances to rooms are signed with large yellow tape, so it is visible also for those who are visually challenged
The museum employees are ready to help if there are any problems during your visit.
PETS
The Galicia Jewish Museum is a pet friendly place. We would like to invite our guests to visit us with their pets. There is always a bowl of cold water waiting for your pet.
