Doctors, company owners, thinkers, lawyers, psychologists, teachers – we are still not discussing enough about the Jewish women of Krakow in the context of these fields of work. And in each of them we can find Krakow’s Jewish women who made their mark on history. From Helena Rubinstein to Regina Aleksandrowicz, from Zofia Ameisen to Maria Orwid – we can make a list of multiple names.
We would like to invite you to a guided tour following the footsteps of Krakow’s Jewish women, during which we will present the stories of those who co-created the history of Jewish communities in Krakow and Kazimierz, not forgetting the tragic wartime fates of many of them.
Starting point: Galicia Jewish Museum , 18 Dajwór St.
In Polish.
Tickets: 10 zł (available at the Galicia Jewish Museum reception desk before the tour)
