“TRAKL-TAT. The Georg Trakl All-Polish Poetry Contest” is a competition for poets inspired by the works of the Austrian poet. Georg Trakl lived from 1887-1914 and died in Krakow, but historical context is important. 1914 is the year of the Great War. Thus, Georg Trakl became a symbol of a generational tragedy that affects the entire country, as well as those dealing with existential crises.
At the gala, the winners of the 12th edition of the competition will receive their awards.
Also, during the gala, the audience will participate in a concert by the TRAKL JAZZ BAND.
