Hazzan Mike Stein has been the cantor at Temple Aliyah in Los Angeles, CA. for 21 years. He is the recipient of the coveted Samuel Rosenbaum award for Scholarship and Creativity from the Cantors Assembly. Mike also received the Hiddur Mitzvah Award from Masorti Olami. He has worked extensively with Jewish communities in Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe and in Poland. He was in three Broadway shows and is a Grammy Award artist on the CD cELLAbration. He has worked as an educator, cantor and community organizer.
