For the end of summer vacation, we would like to invite you to the Galicia Jewish Museum for a family picnic and the opening of the exhibition “Annex of Imagination”’. Let us say farewell to summer in the world of imagination created by young artists! During family workshops, the Galicia Jewish Museum will become a huge children’s playground… or a blank page, on which young artists will create their unique works. We will fantasize, imagine, tell tales (Krakow’s legends included), and, most of all, have fun.

Program:

10:30 – “Such a Story…” – we will tell Krakow’s legends
11:00 – “Experimental Painting Studio” – we will paint together with our hands and whatever we will take into them
11:30 – “Unbelievable Things” – we will create our own stories about Krakow
12:00 – Opening of the Exhibition “Annex of Imagination”

Thanks to the recently closed temporary exhibition “Szancer, Imagine That!”, we could be inspired by the works of Jan Marcin Szancer and get immersed in the world of his beautiful illustrations.

This time, young artists will take us to this magic world. Their illustrations and written stories will be presented as part of the exhibition “Annex of Imagination.” Perhaps, just like Jan Marcin Szancer, the young artists will become authors of illustrations to books read by thousands of people? Let’s hope so! For now, come and join us for the exhibition’s opening.
