Online event
This event will be broadcasted on the Galicia Jewish Museum Facebook fanpage.
Jewish communities were a part of the history of not only just large cities, like Krakow, Warsaw, or Białystok. We often forget that the void left after former Jewish inhabitants of small towns and villages is much more visible than in large urban centers.
We would like to invite you on a trip to unusual places, when it comes to the context of Jewish heritage. This will be a tour through Krakow’s so-called “Obwarzanek,” which includes Skawina, Słomniki, Niepołomice, and many more towns. Even though these towns are located just a short distance from Krakow, the fates of their Jewish citizens were entirely different.
In Polish.
Free admission.
