We would like to invite you to a presentation of a guide through Krakow and Warsaw: “MAPA. Contemporary Jewish Places and Stories” and to a guided tour through Krakow, based on this unique publication.

There are many maps and guides depicting the historic places relating to the Jewish community that are commonly visited by tourists. The creators of these maps and guides usually focus on history and commemoration. Our project aims to depict the present: the contemporary life, the diversity of Jewish communities, and a new, fresh look at the urban spaces of Krakow and Warsaw. Thanks to the cooperation of the Galicia Jewish Museum with the Mifgash Foundation and JCC Warsaw and to the support and trust of the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund, two maps of Krakow and Warsaw, as well as a guided tour through these two cities, were created as a result of multiple conversations with representatives of local Jewish communities. These stories were gathered by Olga Adamowska in Krakow and Patrycja Dołowy in Warsaw.

In Polish.
Free admission.

Guided tour: space is limited, registration required: zapisy@galiciajewishmuseum.org

A guided tour through Warsaw led by Patrycja Dołowy will take place on Sunday, December 14th, 2025. For more information, check the JCC Warsaw website: https://www.jccwarszawa.pl/
