On October 25th, 2022, the Galicia Jewish Museum opened a new temporary exhibition titled “Helena Rubinstein. First Lady of Beauty.” This is the first exhibition about Helena Rubinstein to be ever presented in Poland, and it was created by the Galicia Jewish Museum in cooperation with the Jewish Museum Vienna. The exhibition depicts the unusual life of a famous Krakow-born entrepreneur and businesswoman. The viewers can also enjoy the atmosphere of the past thanks to rich visual materials, among which there are photographs of Helena Rubinstein from her early days in Krakow, which have not been widely known to the audiences.

We would like to invite you to a training session during which the attendees will participate in a curatorial guided tour, a lecture, and a presentation devoted to key aspects of Helena Rubinstein’s biography.

The session will take place on December 20th at the Galicia Jewish Museum (18 Dajwór St.). Admission is free.
The attendees will receive certificates confirming their participation.

A detailed program of the training session will be available at the Galicia Jewish Museum website.
If you are interested in this course, please contact our Education Department at: anna.wencel@galicjaold.local

This is an accompanying event to the exhibition “Helena Rubinstein. First Lady of Beauty.”
