Gallery on ground floor at the High Synagogue, ul. Józefa 38
The exhibition was created as part of the international project HANNAH – Challenging and Debunking Antisemitic Myths, implemented by organizations from Germany, Poland, Greece and Serbia. It presents short biographies of representatives of Jewish communities from these four countries and quotes from interviews conducted in the framework of this project.
The protagonists of the exhibition are mostly people born after the Second World War, but there are also people who survived the Holocaust as children. Greek, German, Polish and Serbian Jews, whose stories are presented at the exhibition, talk about their identity and personal experiences with antisemitic prejudices to encourage deeper reflection and active fight against all forms of xenophobia and discrimination.
HANNAH Project is co-funded by the Rights, Equality, Citizenship Program of the European Union (Agreement Number 963769-REC-RRAC-RACI-AG-2020) for a duration of two years (from 01/12/2020 to 30/11/2022).
