In almost every culture and religion, cemeteries are very special places. Enveloped in reverence and the mystical atmosphere surrounding death, they also offer a unique opportunity to learn about the lives of those buried there.

We would like to invite you to a guided tour through the New Jewish Cemetery located at Miodowa St., during which the participants will get to know the life stories of Krakow citizens buried there, find out more about burial customs in Judaism, while we will also shed some more light on lesser known customs in Jewish culture and will explain their origins.
