“Księga światów Tobiasza Kohna. Między wiedzą naukową a religijną mądrością” (“Tobias Kohn’s Book of Worlds: Between Scientific Knowledge and Religious Wisdom”) – this monograph is an ambitious and scholarly endeavor to comprehensively explore the biography of Tobias Kohn (1652–1729) – a Jewish physician and scholar with deep connections to Krakow his intellectual legacy, particularly his work “Maase Tobias” (1708).

The work and influence of this original thinker will significantly enrich not only the knowledge of those interested in the early modern period but also broaden their understanding of scholarship. Becoming acquainted with Tobias Kohn’s principal and encyclopedic work, which he wrote in Hebrew, “The Work of Tobias”, can be a real cognitive shock. On the one hand, it is the work of a conservative and religious mind. On the other hand, the work of a person who is open to scientific innovations.
