“Woman of Valor” was a poem that for many centuries dominated the image of women in the Jewish tradition. It was a construct that was aimed to become an ideal for both: how women should lead their lives and for the expectations of men. But was it really the case and is this construct still dominant? We would like to invite you to a guided tour through the city, the heroes of which will be Jewish women of Krakow: writers, translators, tailors, scholars, and citizens – the women of our city.

In Polish. Free admission.
