Concert of the Pro Musica Bona Foundation stipendists with a guest appearane by the pianist, Carolyn Enger
We would like to invite you to a special concert performed by the stipendists of the Pro Musica Bona Foundation from Krakow, which supports, financially as well as educationally, gifted students of 1st and 2nd level music schools, as well as students of music academies.
The concert will be performed by:
Emilia Daszkiewicz – violin
Hugo Długosz – trumpet
Małgorzata Gruza – cello
Adam Przetocki – xylophone
Adam Tarko – piano
The concert will include a guest performance by an American pianist, Carolyn Enger, who is acclaimed for her lyrical style and deep interpretations. Her album with miniatures composed by Ned Rorem, which was issued by Naxos, was considered by The New York Times one of the best albums with recordings of the works by this composer. The artist performs all around the world– most recently she has performed at the Virginia Holocaust Museum, the Holocaust Museum in Houston, the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, and the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation.
