Charity concert for Ukraine

Charity concert for Ukraine

On-site event

Together with the Zustricz Foundation we would like to invite you to a charity concert in support of Ukrainians who have escaped from Russian aggression.

The concert will be performed by:

Korali – a Ukrainian folk band cooperating with the Polish-Ukranian Zustricz Foundation. As the members of the band write about themselves: “Singing is passion , emotions that are transferred onto us from our ancestors. We feel like a family and we have the utmost respect for Ukraine, its history, culture, and music.”

The Alibi Sisters – Anna and Angelina Zavalskiye are popular Ukrainian pop and folk singers. They have been singing as a duet together since childhood. In 2001, they created the pop-duo Alibi, and for more than 10 years it was one of the most popular bands in Ukrainian show business. Recently they reloaded their career as “The Alibi Sisters” duo and presented their new project on the vocal show “The Voice of Ukraine” where they performed a Yiddish song “Chiribim Chiribom”, inspired by the songs of “The Barry Sisters”. The artists see music not only as entertainment, but, above all, as a universal tool for presenting the richness of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, including various music traditions and the inspiration of many cultures which can be heard in Ukrainian songs.

Tickets: 40 zł (available from April 5th online and at the Galicia Jewish Museum reception desk).
