We would like to invite you to a charity concert of Jewish music performed by cantors: Rivka Foremniak and Michael Stein. During the concert we will collect voluntary donations, which will go towards purchasing an ambulance for the city of Ternopil. Galicia Jewish Museum and the French organization Polish Women without Borders (Polonaises sans Frontières) are partners in this concert.

Performers:

Rivka Foremniak – for 9 years, she has been leading religious services at Progressive synagogues and has been performing at various Jewish festivals and concerts. She is a member and manager of the vocal band Shir Aviv.

Michael Stein – a distinguished musician, laureate of many awards, e.g. Grammy. He had the honor of performing for three US Presidents. He also performed in the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” on Broadway. His songs have been broadcasted by thousands of radio stations all over the world. For the last 21 years, he has been a cantor at a synagogue in Los Angeles. He is cooperating with Jewish congregations in Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Poland.
