Inspired by the wonderful world of “Mr. Kleks' Academy,” and by the strength of unlimited imagination, we will turn everyday items and junk intended for recycling into magical objects: a train made of a teapot, a bicycle made of pince-nez, a flying balloon in which Mr. Kleks' eye is travelling, a magnifying pump which serves for just anything, a machine to make holes in a nose, and many more. The items will be created using the technique of collage: from various materials and objects they will be photographed on colourful backgrounds with their manuals and a description of how they work. As a reward, the children will receive freckles, the highest award of the Academy. The photographs of the works will later be on display at Mr. Kleks Museum, a virtual museum housed on the Galicia Jewish Museum website.
