Between the streets of Wielicka and Kamieńskiego lies an area which, during the Second World War, was the site of an unimaginable tragedy. The knowledge and consciousness of Kraków’s citizens about the former camp is growing, but the names of ZAL Plaszow or KL Plaszow neither explain nor illustrate what exactly happened there, and what were the fates of the thousands of people who were imprisoned and murdered there. During the themed walking tour, we will focus on the history of the Płaszów Concentration Camp, its prisoners, and victims.
