In 2018 we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the achievement of women suffrage in Poland. This was only made possible thanks to the many years of struggle and work of suffragettes and their fight for political freedom. The success resulted from the work of women from a variety of backgrounds, representing various political trends. How do women exercise their rights today? What are the obstacles that they currently face? What is the place of women in contemporary politics? What is their input in public life?
We would like to invite you to a meeting with women politicians, non-governmental organization workers and representatives of city-wide movements and demonstrations.
This is an accompanying event to the exhibition “Women’s Rights are Human Rights.”
